Your 2026 blueprint
Build your own simulation programme

As a new season begins, priorities tend to focus on outcomes. Better results. More performance. Fewer compromises.

But in motorsport, outcomes are built long before the first green light. They’re shaped by preparation. In 2026, simulation is no longer an all-or-nothing investment. It can start small, be explored intelligently, and grow into a structured programme over time.

To support this, Virtex is also evolving. While GT and single-seater racing remain our core, we are introducing a new level of scalability for 2026. Teams entering Hypercar and LMP categories can now scale their simulation programmes progressively, leveraging existing foundations rather than starting from scratch.

Start small. Learn fast. Build with intent.

A simulation programme doesn’t need to start with a full-season commitment.

Many teams and drivers begin with targeted sessions: a specific circuit, a development objective, a procedural focus. One day at a time, with clear questions to answer.

That early phase is about understanding where simulation brings the most value: how it fits into your preparation, how drivers and engineers work with the tools, and what it can realistically replace or complement.

From there, programmes evolve naturally. Structure increases. Continuity follows. Simulation stops being an experiment and becomes part of the routine.

Engineering-grade tool, without the overhead.

One of the biggest barriers to simulation has always been access.

Licences, infrastructure, and internal development often require long-term commitments before value can be proven.

At Virtex, those barriers are removed.

Teams and drivers access professional-grade simulation tools — hardware, software, vehicle models, and engineering support — through a simple daily rate. No licences to acquire. No long-term contracts required to get started.

That means you can test, learn, and adapt without locking yourself into heavy investments. And scale up only when it makes sense.

Simulation becomes something you use — not something you have to build.

Hypercar & LMP programmes, built to real-world standards

As simulation programmes scale, accuracy becomes non-negotiable—particularly in high-complexity environments like Hypercar and LMP.

Building on our established GT and single-seater foundations, Virtex now supports these endurance programmes with category-specific setups. Every configuration is grounded in real vehicle data and race-relevant procedures, designed to meet the specific technical realities of modern endurance racing.

Drivers train in environments that reflect the cockpit they actually sit in: seating position, steering geometry, control layouts and true-to-life visualisation — not generic representations.

The objective isn’t immersion for its own sake. It’s ensuring that what’s learned in simulation transfers directly to the car, whether the focus is ergonomics, visibility, workflows, or decision-making.

This level of fidelity is available whether you’re running focused test sessions or building a longer-term programme.

From Barney Hassell, Head of Vehicle Dynamics

“What matters most to me in simulation is performance. Not how impressive it looks, but whether a driver then steps into the real car feeling prepared, confident, and aligned with the engineers around him.

What we’re building at Virtex is not a one-size-fits-all solution. It’s a framework teams can grow into, at their own pace, using the same principles that have shaped top-level motorsport for decades.”

Looking ahead

If 2026 is the year you want to approach preparation differently, this is the right moment to explore what simulation can bring — without overcommitting and without unnecessary complexity.

Start with a session. Build understanding. Scale when it delivers value. We’re ready to help you define that path and discuss how a simulation programme could fit into your 2026 preparation.
